About this Event
Runners will run a 5 leg relay consisting of 10 miles to complete 50 miles from Brooklyn to Yonkers and Back to Brooklyn.
We will be raising funds to feed families for the holidays and we will be asking for donations and items to send to Jamaica for the hurricane relief.
Items can be dropped off at Nicholas Brooklyn at 1396 Fulton street.
For the 50 Mile Event-
Each runner or group of runners will run from 10 miles to 50 miles (or whatever amount they would like in between). It will be a 5am start time (4:30am meet up). Starting at Buffalo Ave. and Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn (Route will be given closer to the date).
Runners will choose a run time/mile slot to complete . There will be 5 time/mile slots. The miles will have a 2 hour limit for each incriment of miles.
1st leg 1- 10 Miles ( 5am-7am)
2nd leg 10- 20 Miles (7am-9am)
3rd leg 20- 30 Miles (9am-11am)
4th leg 30- 40 Miles (11am-1pm)
5th leg 40 - 50 Miles (1pm- 3pm) Final Leg
There will be fuel at every 10 mile exchange. Runners will be able have a bag check option.
Runners will be asked to donate at least $20 to contribute to the fundraiser. Runners can find a family who is in need (within the 4 boroughs - Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan or the Bronx) of a holiday meal. They will receive the groceries to be able to prepare their feast.
