Please save the date for a women's only event (THUR, NOV 14th- 6-8pm at my office) that I am super excited / really passionate about (because we don't know what we don't know)!!! When Bobby's dad passed away earlier this year, I felt completely unprepared for what was in store. I also realized the importance of having your ducks in a row (in a LOT of regards). So mid NOV I am bringing in a handful of speakers for a fun night of open, honest conversations about getting your sh!t together for your family, what questions you need to ask yourself (or your kids or your spouses, etc), and teaching you a few things that you never even thought were important! For those of us with older parents, too, I want this evening of fellowship, food, and honest conversations to give you the tools that you need to feel comfortable about planning for your (or a loved one's) legacy. Please RSVP to attend! Topics I am working on content for include: estate planning, life insurance, how do you plan a funeral- what does it entail, charitable giving, writing your own obituary (Tips on how to capture your life story, your values, and how you'd like to be remembered), financial planning for final expenses, and your digital legacy. The time to start the conversation is NOW, and I want to offer my nearest and dearest a fun, safe, constructive place to talk through something that wouldn't necessarily come up about without being encouraged!
