“Old Testament Las Vegas” is how its creator, Mariusz Grzegorzek, describes the play. He aims to examine the social and cultural revolution through the lens of a specific community. Drawing inspiration from numerous cultural references, this slightly provocative morality play delves into the clash between old-fashioned values and seemingly boundless opportunities of the new world. The fun is in full swing, but it’s becoming clear that its participants have forgotten about the rather significant human needs, especially those of a more spiritual nature. The Biblical triad – faith, hope, and love – resembles lost sisters at a carnival masquerade ball full of eccentric guests. The question remains: when, with whom, and how will the Las Vegas revelry end…
