Join us for an intimate exploration of the profound journey through loss and grief, led by hospice Chaplain Suzanne Fabick of Rooted in Love Experiences. As we honor our losses, we harness the energy of grief to fuel our personal evolution and unearth the hidden gifts that emerge from our most profound sorrows.
Beyond traditional mourning, The Gifts of Grief embraces diverse forms of loss – whether it's the departure of cherished dreams, the evolution of relationships, or the transformation of one's identity. We recognize that grief wears many faces, and this event provides a safe space to navigate them all.
Through reflective activities, guided meditation, and facilitated sharing, attendees will discover meaningful pathways to integrate hope and gratitude into their grief journey. By fostering a sense of community, we acknowledge the healing power found in shared experiences.
Please come prepared with a notebook and pen/pencil for journaling, as well as an object or photo that symbolizes your unique story of loss, grief, and healing. Together, let us honor the complexity of our journeys and discover the transformative power of grief's profound gifts.

Suzanne Fabick is a professional hospice chaplain who has over 30 years of working with sick, terminally ill, and their loved ones as they experience loss and grief. Suzanne has created and shared several workshops and educational presentations to the community and various groups to assist in greater understanding of how grief journey comes in many forms, not only at the end of life.
Suzanne has B.S. in Counseling and Guidance from Wayne State University. She obtained her Clinical Pastoral Education at Sinai-Grace and Children's Hospitals in Detroit.
