Howard Thurman once said, "Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." This semester, Stetson Wesley is exploring what it means to Come Alive at the Gathering Worship Service. How do our passions enhance not only our spirituality but also the rest of our lives?
Our own Rev. Caitlin Swann will be hosting a general discussion with Camryn Shepard, our pastoral resident and a ministry candidate studying at Candler School of Theology. We’ll be talking about what we mean by “passions,” how we identify them, and how we can approach Howard Thurman’s words to live and practice a more meaningful spiritual life. In addition to a lively discussion, we’ll come together over our traditional liturgy with worship music provided by Camryn and our team. You’ll want to arrive at 6pm when we serve free dinner and say hi to our team. We’ll see you at Wesley House!
