Lorenzo Lo Piccolo has been foraging and studying fungi since the early 2000s. His special interest is in understanding the relationships between fungi and other organisms; especially trees. He holds a Wild Mushrooms Foraging Certification from the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development. He follows closely mycological developments through the country and the world.
