Join us for an exciting event filled with laughter, great company, and the chance to make lasting memories along our beautiful shoreline. Whether you’re a long-time Gages Lake residential enthusiast, a family member or friend of one of our residents, or a first-time guest, you’ll love this activity set in a welcoming atmosphere that celebrates both fun and community spirit.Please note this event serves as a fundraiser for the Gages Lake Conservation Committee (GLCC), the organization responsible for overseeing the health and maintenance of Gages Lake since the 1970s. Your participation is a meaningful way to support the GLCC’s ongoing efforts and to celebrate our community’s shared commitment to preserving this cherished natural resource.

DETAILS:
• Host House: 33182 N. Island Avenue
o Parking at Sunset Beach or along Cove Road on the south end of the channel
• This is an adult ONLY 21+ event
• Approximately 90 minutes of play time
• Registration fees are $35pp for Gages Lake residents and $30pp for Gages Lake resident volunteers
• Payment is required prior to the date of the event and no later than January 23rd at 8pm to Ranya Dietzen (Zelle: 847-370-2501)
• Registration fees are not reimbursable
• To register, please email [email protected] and include your team's golfers' names, your top 2 desired tee times, and a team member's contact phone number
• Event capacity is 184 golfers (23 teams of up to 8 golfers)
o Teams that register with less than 8 golfers may be partnered with other registrants to maximize capacity
• Kick-off tee time is 10am and will continue every 15 minutes
o The last tee time will be 3:30pm
o If your team is late, you will forfeit your scheduled tee time (registration fees are not reimbursable)
• A liability waiver must be consented to at check-in on the day of the event
• This year’s course includes 7 holes (6 standard holes and 1 mystery hole)
• Awards will be presented to the 1st place male, 1st place female, longest drive by a male, and the longest drive by a female
• A bonfire on the ice will follow the awards ceremony
• In the event of poor weather, the Ice Golf Committee will make every effort to reschedule the event
PLEASE BRING:
• CASH to support the 25-25-50 raffle
• Your own beverages
• Food dish to share (encouraged but not required)
• Chairs
• Ice cleats
• Tennis ball for each registrant
• Golf club or hockey stick
• Sled or wagon to haul gears, coolers, chairs, etc.
