COME LEARN HOW OUR COMMUNITY IS BRINGING REPURPOSING PLASTIC TO A COUNTY-WIDE LEVEL! Since 2020, TiLT’s Repurposing Plastic Project has been turning Taos’ waste into walls. From post-consumer plastic we’ve built barns, walls, and windbreaks. We’ve built pocket patios, storage sheds and carports. We’ve shown proof of concept and put Taos on the map, showing innovative & practical ways to repurpose plastic as a building material instead of thoughtlessly dumping it in the landfill.
Now we’re working with collaborators to bring it to the next level, and some exciting next steps are emerging.
