Launched in 2023, FoPCC what started as a conversation on brainstorming possible solutions, has emerged a platform at a time when businesses and individuals are struggling to keep pace with the fast-evolving payment landscape. The maiden edition created ripples across Africa’s innovation ecosystem. With keynote addresses from Kari Tukur ( VP Head of Customer Solutions, East & West Africa Mastercard (Topic - Convergence of Fontech and Commerce), Akeem Lawal - MD Payment Processing and Switching- Interswitch Purepay (Topic- Enabling the next Era of Digital Commerce), the conference dissected digital wallets, mobile payments, and the informal sector’s financial inclusion and how it relates to commerce and seamless payment today.
