New date of SAT 16TH NOV!!We return to our hidden away space at the back of Abbey Gates for some Backroom Boogie! We'll be putting in double the amount of speaker stacks and throwing out the usual mixture of funk, house, Italo disco, afro beat and boogie!
For this next one we'll be raising money for Megan's Space charity.
Megans Space is a charity close to the hearts of everyone involved in Funk Agenda, from the resident djs to everyone who attends the events.
All proceeds from tickets will be going to Megans Space to assist them in continuing to do the stellar work they do.
Megans Space mission statement below for a bit about what they do:
Megan's Space SCIO is an Ayrshire-based mental health charity that was set up in 2019 after the tragic suicide of Megan Copeland. The charity, in her name, was set up to provide therapeutic intervention by qualified practitioners to children and young people who are struggling with their own mental illnesses. So far we have individually supported over 400 young people and families, and are continuing to receive an influx of referrals through GP's and Schools. However, if we continue to receive the same amount of inbound referrals, the funds we have will only last us a short amount of time. Thus, it is crucial we do our best to fundraise, so we can continue to support those in our community that need it most.
