About this Event
The 2024 Design Challenge launched in January 2024 with an invitation for school teams across Chicago to identify a design opportunity impacting students in their community that could be addressed using human-centered design. 26 schools participated and ten finalists were announced and invited to the Round 3 Pitch Competition.
The top five finalists of the Design Challenge will present their design story via a live “pitch” and compete for awards ranging from $2,000 - $10,000. Team presentations will be judged by a panel of Chicago education leaders and students and audience members can register their vote for the Audience Choice Award.
Dinner and refreshments will be provided to attendees, and limited complimentary parking is available.
