The Fugitives – Boxing Day Special at The Earl Haig ClubBoxing Day just got louder! South Wales’ very own rhythm & blues lunatics The Fugitives are back at the Haig – and trust us, this is the perfect way to shake off the turkey hangover.
These Cardiff R&B maniacs have been rocking stages from Bayonne to Bristol, and for two solid decades they’ve proudly held the title of fourth-best R&B group within 8.7 miles of Whitchurch Village. Quite the honour, and they’ll remind you of it at least twice during the night.
Expect a set that’s wild, sweaty, and utterly daft – the lads might even remember the words if we can drag them away from their mince pies and sherry. They’ll be hitting the stage at 6pm (ish… give or take a pudding break).
So bring your mates, bring your leftover pigs in blankets, and don’t forget to chuck a few quid in their Christmas stockings – otherwise they’ll sulk all the way to the curry house after the gig.
The Fugitives. Mad as a box of crackers. The best (and only) way to spend Boxing Day.
