The Fridge Art Fair Playhouse celebrates Pee-wee Herman, the iconic character created by Paul Reubens, and honors both Reubens’ genius and his beloved creation. Fridge Art Fair’s Whimsical World is presented in partnership with the Lobby Bar & Garden at the Hotel Alameda High Line.
Fridge Art Fair New York City returns with an unforgettable tribute to the magic of Pee-wee Herman and the brilliance of Paul Reubens. This year's edition The Fridge Art Fair Playhouse will take over the Lobby Bar & Garden at the Hotel Almeda High Line in Chelsea, bringing together beloved Pee-wee favorites, Fridge Art Fair icons, and exciting new surprises.
The fair will blend art, nostalgia, and interactive experiences in a space inspired by Pee-wee's Playhouse. Meet Pee-wee, Chairry, Jambi, alongside Fridge Art Fair staples Nick the Dog, the Fridge Flamingos, and the debut of the Fridge Art Fair Yard Balls!
“Fridge has always been about celebrating creativity in unexpected ways. Pee-wee’s world is the perfect inspiration for this year’s fair. Step into our wacky Playhouse where art, humor, and fun collide!” – Eric Ginsburg, Fridge Art Fair founder.
Highlights include Playhouse-inspired art installations with vibrant colors and surrealism, the return of Pee-wee favorites like Chairry and Jambi, Fridge Art Fair mascots Nick the Dog and the Flamingos, a brand-new interactive experience with the Fridge Art Fair Yard Balls, and special Pee-wee-inspired cocktails and treats at The Lobby Bar & Garden. The fair will also feature a diverse range of art, from large to small, showcasing the creativity and quirkiness that Fridge Art Fair is known for.
And as always—Fridge Art Fair is free to visit! "Can you fit into the fridge?"
Founder Eric Ginsburg would like to give thanks to the Fridge Art Fair team. This year’s extraordinary event is made possible by the dedication, creativity, and collaboration of the amazing Fridge Art Fair team; Chris Cobb, David Craig Ellis, Lise “Sonny” Laurent, Kaitlin Martin, Phoenix Roberts, David Waage.
