In case of rain the concert will be held in the William R. Talley Recreation Center, which is located on the corner of Bentz Street and Second Street in Baker Park at 121 N Bentz Street. Frederick, MD 21701 Also, please bring a chair for gym seating. There are chairs available to rent for $2, but you are welcome to bring your own folding chair. If we end up inside, we want you to be comfortable!

Join The Frederick Chorale and The Army Field Band's HooahCappella on Armed Forces Day at the Baker Park Bandshell!
Heidi Ackerman, the conductor of the Frederick Chorale and an Army Veteran, is very excited to be performing with Soldiers from the US Army Field Band at Baker Park to honor service members and veterans with a free concert.
Ackerman had the honor of serving in the Army Field Band for 7 years, touring the country performing for our nation's veterans. She's delighted to bring her Army unit to Frederick and to have Michael O'Connor as emcee!
We will perform as a combined choir and separately with songs ranging from "Shenandoah" by James Erb and "The Tree of Peace" by Gwyneth Walker.
