Mark your calendars! š The 31st Annual Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade is coming to The Avenue on Saturday, April 19th! This free, family-friendly event kicks off at 11:30am in front of St. Markās Episcopal Church and will travel down Frankfort Avenue to Pope Street. The day will be full of color, candy, and character, with homemade floats, dance groups, antique cars, trucks, the Easter Bunny, and more! š£š°š·
This parade isnāt just for spectators; itās for YOU! Bring your family, rally your friends, and even dress up your pup for an unforgettable experience! Deck out your Radio Flyer wagon, big wheel, or car in the most spectacular way possible! The sky's the limit when it comes to showing off your festive flair. And hereās the best partāthe judges will be on the lookout for the most egg-ceptional entries, awarding the coveted āGood Earsā prizes to the most creative floats and participants. So, let your imagination run wild! Speaking of hopping, the parade will debut Louisville's longest Bunny Hop this year. Everyone can hop in line at The Irish Rover at the end of the parade as we attempt to create the longest Bunny Hop ever experienced in Louisville.
The Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade has been a unique part of what makes our vibrant community so great to be a part of these past 30 years.
