The Forge is a training series presented by Wildfire Network to strengthen, shape, and connect Missional Leaders.
About this Event

Forge: HEADLINES

Information comes at us at a pace that is faster than ever before. As we prepare in the US for another election cycle, and with unpredictable global news, and sometimes even more unpredictable personal news from our own spheres - we need to be trained on how to respond. With headlines sometimes intentionally designed to mislead, divide, and cause fear and anger - How can the People of God learn to consistently interpret them in a way that truly 'takes every thought captive' to the obedience of Christ?

WHAT will we do? We will learn to process Headlines together as a community and personally with Christ. Our hope is that you leave with less anxiety and greater hope - confident with the tools you have at your side to be able to handle any news that comes your way. Because this is a training crafted for missional community leaders, we also hope to equip you to pass on to others what you receive at this Forge training.

WHO is this for? We hope that anyone in the greater SA region who is walking in obedience to a calling from Jesus will be able to attend this training. We are designing it specifically for the beautifully diverse family of Wildfire Network Mission Leaders – but anyone is invited and welcome to participate.

Beverages and Snacks will be available throughout the event (Coffee, Tea, snack bars, cookies, etc. )

Limited Childcare available (potty trained and up): email [email protected] with number of kids and their ages so we can prepare for their needs.
