Early Years Play and Communication Lead Becky Poulter-Jewson and Forest School Leader Mindy Pickering, have come together to create the Forest Play Approach! Through a series of outdoor training modules, we aim to develop a deeper understanding of the benefits of a natural space and how the Forest Play Approach can improve everyday practice, enhance the wellbeing of children and teams, and build educators' confidence in outdoor environments. Our educational practice and research is based in children's deep engagement in play, connection to nature and enabling environments. Through our individual backgrounds we have collaborated to create this workshop to explore the amazing benefits of physical play outdoors and how to enhance your provision to ensure that children truly benefit and thrive in the outdoor environment. The cost is £15 per person. Join us at our beautiful Oxstalls site and let's grow together! Please ignore where it says 'book for child/children', this training session is for adults only, we are unable to change the preset button options.
