Join us as we discuss Ray Bradbury's classic 1953 novel, Fahrenheit 451.The book paints a bleak picture of a society disconnected from one another and consumed by mass media where books are burned and history is erased. It is simultaneously one of the most acclaimed and most frequently banned books of all time.
We'll be bringing snacks, and we will also be accepting gently used copies of books to share amongst the community for those that are interested, but readers aren't required to bring anything but their minds and their voices.
Although The Forbidden Book Club is open to readers of all ages and skill levels, this book does contain subject matter that could be potentially triggering to some.
