The Fonctionnaires are a Guelph, Ontario–based Americana and roots band formed in 2022. Drawing inspiration from classic artists such as Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Levon Helm, and Buddy Miller, the band delivers soulful, groove-driven performances rooted in storytelling and timeless songs.Featuring Rob Kerr (guitar, vocals), Lindsay Bradley (vocals), Chris Hierlihy (pedal steel), Cam Werner (bass, vocals), and Brad Holy (drums), The Fonctionnaires are known for their rich harmonies, evocative pedal steel, and warm, engaging live shows. Since their debut performance in late 2023, the band has become a regular presence on stages across Guelph and southern Ontario, building a strong local following through energetic and heartfelt performances.
