Jeff Goldblum stars as scientist Seth Brundle, a genius who is about to make a massive technological breakthrough in teleportation as he begins to use himself as a test subject. Unbeknownst to him, an ordinary housefly slipped inside of the chamber during the test, resulting in a merging of their DNA. Undergoing a horrifying physical and mental metamorphosis, Seth struggles to find a way to counteract the event as his body begins to reassemble itself into something half man and half insect!
