Welcome to the Fluency Project!
The Fluency Project is part of Break Diving.
What is Break Diving?
Break Diving is the lost art of finding and creating opportunity. Instead of waiting for opportunities to float to the surface, Break Divers dive in and make their own breaks and opportunities.
We are a global not-for-profit community located at breakdiving.io. We all live by the Break Diver's Creed: "No Rules. No Excuses. No Regrets." We keep our global community together via the website (Dream Big, Mentor Often, Achieve Together), but we thrive through our live events around the world. Like this one!
Whatever your level of a foreign language (including English), come join us. If you have a book you are reading in your foreign language, bring it. Otherwise we will help you find materials to study. Bring a notebook and a pen.
We are friendly and supportive, but very serious about becoming fluent in foreign languages. So don't come expecting to just chit-chat--you will be expected to work. Best part: you will leave actually knowing the language better, and with new friends as well!
Typical 2-Hour Agenda:

• (30 Min) Introductions & Eating
• (10 Min) Foreign Language Chat
• (15 Min) Silent Reading
• (15 Min) Silent TV Show Watching/Listening
• (10 Min) Foreign Language Chat
• (15 Min) Silent Writing
• (15 Min) Individual Presentations
• (10 Min) Closing Remarks
