What does it look like?Overview: 20 youth entrepreneurs, grades 5 -12 or ages 10 to 19, will learn about the entrepreneurial process. Each mentor chooses a teen/group to work with based on their strengths and areas of expertise. The teen/group will be immersed in the entrepreneurial process and ecosystem with not only a personal mentor, but also with other teens and mentors, offering a unique learning experience built to provide optimal supportive and positive growth modeling by diverse individuals.
Weekly: Mini-lesson weekly, Business Model Canvas
Ideation, Creation, Testing/Analysis, Improvement, Presentation

Pitch practice
The Pitch Competition: Teens present their final business idea in pitch format to a panel of local community leaders/business owners for a $1,000 cash prize
Entrepreneurs will learn pitching skills, how to use the Business Model Canvas, how to give and receive feedback for pitches, how to build relationships and more.
Youth Entrepreneur Meeting Dates and Times:
Tuesdays from 6 to 8 PM for the following dates
Sept 23, 30
Oct 7, 14, 28 (21st has NO meeting)
Nov 4, 11, 18
FINAL PITCH for $1,000 is Tuesday DEC 2 at 7 PM!
Youth must attend at least 5 of 8 sessions to be eligible for the $1,000 prize.
