Light up your winter with artist and beekeeper Andrea Ku for this special Bees event.
Join Andrea to learn how and why bees are important to our everyday local lives, and around the world. Why do they pollinate, what does that mean? And what is beeswax and why do they make it?
We will be ending the session by making our own beeswax candles to take home and light to celebrate our love and light for the bees.
You'll also have the opportunity to write a message to the bees on our bee-board - but we promise you, you won't be bored!
This event is suitable for 16-24 years old but all visitors are welcome to join us to learn about bees.
