About this Event
Join us for an enriching evening of ceremony, sacred song and the medicine of the Rose ~ in honour of the Feast Day of Mary Magdalene.
Hannah Graceful Dawn will open a sacred container for the evening with a beautiful anointing ritual. Creator of the River of Eternal Love Myrraphore Training for women, she is bringing this offering from a rich and deeply sacred path in honour of the teachings of the Magdala. The Myrraphores were the Mistresses of the oils and would use specific oils that were held within the temple, and which hold the sacred holy scent and frequency to serve the soul during sacred thresholds and transitions. The holy oils would offer a profound reconsecration and healing for the soul and their humanness to bring forgiveness love and compassion.

This will be followed by a guided journey with a beautifully prepared Rose Elixir, led by Insight Herbalist, Emma Sampson. She is passionate about opening the doorways to receive the innate wisdom held within plants. She carries the medicine of the Rose with such grace, integrity and reverence... it’ll be an honour to share this space with her, as well as experiencing this divine Rose Elixir.

Lydia will then take us deeper into the heart space to connect with the Magdalene through sacred song, chants and prayer ~ inspired by her journey with the Magdala and the Rose.
Lydia is a singer songwriter, Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and Shakti Dance® facilitator. She is also a core team member of Heart of the Rose Festival ~ a growing community of women drawn to gather each year on the ancient deer park of the Eridge Estate, Kent. It's a beautiful opportunity to deepen into and re-member together, the ancient way of the Rose.
