This course explores the treatment of Hashimoto's thyroiditis and other thyroid conditions through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Five Element theory, complemented by modern functional medicine approaches. Designed for acupuncture practitioners, the course enhances the ability to diagnose and treat autoimmune thyroid disorders using TCM diagnostic principles, dietary therapy, and lifestyle modifications.
Participants will learn to apply the Five Element theory to understand thyroid pathophysiology, interpret key thyroid laboratory markers, and create comprehensive, individualized treatment strategies. The course also covers developing customized protocols that integrate TCM principles with functional medicine, offering guidance on dietary and lifestyle changes to support optimal thyroid health. Through this integrative approach, practitioners will gain the tools to address common root causes of thyroid dysfunction and provide effective, holistic care for patients.
