A series of monthly reading groups on science-fiction in translation. The First Wednesday Reading Group will pay attention to how texts build worlds – anticipating, challenging and enacting lived realities – and how they move in different temporal and cultural contexts.A motivation for the reading group is to explore ways of putting language to experience while keeping the experience and the learning that comes with it soft, impressionable, with a possibility of spill.
