Every trailblazer was once a young girl who believed that she could! BoldHER Future invites all young girls ages 8-13 to attend this inspiring fireside chat and panel discussion featuring insights from trailblazing women:
- Aruna Miller, Lieutenant Governor of Maryland
- Courteney Monroe, President National Geographic Content
- Dr. Catherine Bollard, Chief Research Officer and Senior Vice President of Children's National Hospital
Learn how these pioneering women broke barriers, overcame challenges and developed their confidence to be the powerful leaders that they are today! Ask them your questions and get ready to be uplifted by their answers!
Space is limited for this free event. Register today! Arrive 10 minutes early to check-in and get seated. Event will begin promptly at 9:30 AM in the Lecture Hall of the Council Office Building. Parents please register using your name/email and then you will be prompted to enter your childrens' names and ages. List total number of people in your party attending including you.
Free Parking and Entering: Free parking is available in the Council Office Building Garage with an entrance on East Jefferson Street. Park in the main Levels A and B. Enter through side doors of the building on the lower level which lead straight to the lecture hall auditorium (not the Main Entrance on Rockville Ave.) From the Garage main Levels A and B, follow signs to the Elevators. To the right of elevators, there is a small stair case that takes you up to the doors for the auditorium/lecture hall. Turn left off the stair case and follow signs to Council Office Building and Auditorium and Delivery Entrance.
PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE: By registering for this event, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older and the legal guardian for the minor that you are registering and that you will attend the entire event with your minor child and be fully responsible for your child. You also consent to you and/or your minor attendee being photographed and/or videotaped at the event. Photos and videos will be used for promotional and marketing purposes by BoldHER Future, its organizers and affiliates and/or the speakers for the event. By registering, you hereby release BoldHER Future, its affiliates, agents and speakers of the event from any claims related to use of such photos/videos.
