Our First Railtour!We are excited to announce our debut railtour 'The First of Many: The Boog and Beyond' will be on Saturday 1st November 2025 which will operate in the Netherlands with Railexperts as the train operator.
Our proposed routing is as follows:
Amsterdam Centraal (PU) – Amsterdam Westhaven (reverse) – Amsterdam Houtrakpolder (reverse) – Amsterdam Centraal – Breukelen – Woerden – Gouda – Binkhorstboog – Schiedam Centrum – Westelijke Splitsing - Rotterdam Noord Goederen (reverse) - Rotterdam Centraal – Lage Zwaluwe (reverse) – Moerdijk (reverse) – Lage Zwaluwe – Oosterhout Weststad (reverse) – Lage Zwaluwe (reverse) – Breda – Tilburg – 's Hertogenbosch – Geldermalsen – Utrecht Centraal – Woerden – Alphen aan den Rijn – Leiden Centraal (SD) – Haarlem – Amsterdam Centraal (SD)
Traction will be provided by Railexperts. The main tour will be hauled by two locomotives from their pool of former NS Class 1600s or 1800. Additional locomotives will join throughout the day - A V60 diesel shunter supporting the visit to Amsterdam Westhaven, and a former Belgian Class 62 hauling the train to Moerdijk and Oosterhout Weststad.
