Curious about the role of the pelvic floor and how you can enhance your overall pelvic health? Pelvic health is an integral part of our overall well-being and quality of life, especially for women. The pelvic floor is a group of muscles and connective tissues that support the organs in the pelvis, in both male and female anatomy, however this workshop will educate and create awareness around the female pelvic floor, specifically. Come join Ashli to gain a better understanding of pelvic floor muscle tone and coordination.
Things you will learn:
- 4 primary functions of the pelvic floor and how it supports the pelvic floor organs
- Ways to optimize your pelvic floor control to maximize performance in activities you enjoy
- Overview of the role of muscle tone in strengthening the pelvic floor and lessening pelvic dysfunctions
In this workshop, you can expect guided breathing exercises, yoga flows, and educational group discussion to create awareness around and improve your pelvic floor control and stability. You will bring home tools that you can perform regularly to support your overall pelvic health.
This class is catered specifically to women who want to build a greater sense of connection with this region, specifically beneficial for those suffering from incontinence, lower back pain, as well as pre and postnatal individuals.
Please note: This workshop is not meant to diagnose or treat any pelvic dysfunctions.
