The LaGrange Police Department is hosting several Faith & Blue events on Saturday, October 11th, and on Sunday, October 12th. The public is invited to attend. The purpose of Faith and Blue is to create safer, more inclusive communities by connecting law enforcement officers and the residents they serve and protect through houses of worship.
LPD will host the following events:
FAITH & BLUE GIVE-BACK LUNCH
WHO: LaGrange Police Department
WHAT: Faith & Blue Give-Back Lunch, Free lunch with the Troup County School System, and “Pack the Bag” packages distributed in partnership with faith-based partners.
WHEN: Saturday, October 11th, 11:00 a.m.
WHERE: United Methodist Church parking lot, 101 Alford Street
TEMPTATIONS & FOUR TOPS EVENT
WHO: LaGrange Police Department/Sweetland Amphitheatre
WHAT: Get $10 Tickets to the Temptations & Four Tops Concert at Sweetland Amphitheatre. Purchase tickets by contacting LPD’s Community Outreach at [email protected].
WHEN: Saturday, October 11th, 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Sweetland Amphitheatre, 110 Smith Street
OFFICERS FELLOWSHIP
WHO: LaGrange Police Department/Local Churches
WHAT: LPD Officers will be visiting local church services throughout LaGrange
WHEN: Sunday, October 12th, starting at 10:00 a.m.
WHERE: Local churches throughout LaGrange
THE FELLOWSHIP FEAST
WHO: LaGrange Police Department
WHAT: Free dinner for the public provided by local law enforcement and their faith-based partners.
WHEN: Sunday, October 12th, 6:00 p.m.
WHERE: Granger Park, 100 Hunnicutt Place
