About this Event
This January we are beating the winter blues together and helping each other and our local communities Feel Good.
By taking part in our sponsored walk you will not only be doing something amazing for yourself, by getting outside and active in beautiful surroundings, but you will also be helping us to raise money for our youth services, supporting the mental health and wellbeing of South West London's young people.
This is an event open to anyone of all abilities, as we have accessible 2k, 5k and 10k options, and completing any distance is an amazing achievement.
Funds raised from the walk will be put towards our vital mentoring and coaching service, where we provide both group and 1-1 sessions with hundreds of vulnerable young people. These sessions are a safe space for them to work through challenging emotions, talk about anything that's bothering them or learn to set goals and have help working towards their future goals. Through this service we help young people to thrive and feel good in themselves, leading them to grow in confidence, make the best of their lives and impact the world for good. The morning will begin with a Feel Good warm up led by our youth workers, face painting and music, before troops set off on their walk. There will also be a fancy dress competition for under 12s! Our walks will lead us back to Vine Road where there will be music and games to celebrate an amazing accomplishment!
Entry price will include a gift bag full of snacks and water, and anyone who manages to raise more than £50 in sponsors will receive a Feel Good Stories book as well as a voucher for a speciality Feel Good coffee or hot chocolate at our coffee cart after you've completed your walk!
Kids under 16 go free but we do encourage them to make a just giving page and collect sponsors!
