The FASD Education Foundation is proud to announce our inaugural special district educational opportunity session — hosted by Acme Improvement District at the Village of Wellington Community Center on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
This FREE in-person event will give you the knowledge and tools you need to be fully prepared for the upcoming legislative session — and ready for your essential visits with legislators on Capitol Hill next January.

DEP Update – SB 180: Flood Inventory and Restoration Report Requirements

Info: Detailed review of Section 373.423 Inspection requirements under SB 180, including:
1. Identifying priority infrastructure needs to prevent flooding/property damage.
2. Locating historic and potential flood areas.
3. Developing inspection and maintenance schedules.
4. Creating a prioritized list for funding flood mitigation projects.
5. Discuss compliance timelines, biannual reporting requirements, and collaboration with local governments, water management districts, and stormwater system operators.
