MassTriple7
Masstriple7, nehiawak from Saskatchewan, Canada Poet/ Emcee and multimedia artist focusing on conscious hiphop, indigenous sovereignty and unity between nations of turtle island, planet earth and the universe. Mass started as a graffiti artist and break dancer with indigenous hip hop collective Innersoulflow in Saskatchewan in the mid 90s to 2006, then decided to go solo to build on spirit, developing his own voice and place in the canadian hip hop scene. Mass has continued to record music over the years but took a long break from the performance side of things to heal and work on himself over the years as the effects of intergenerational trauma runs deep. Mass is proud of his contributions to hip hop and plans to continue his journey into the realm of music and arts, though more focused and with a set of new eyes and gratitude.

STAX
My name is Mathias Millette stage name Stax, I was Born and raised in Victoria BC (lək̓ʷəŋən Traditional Territory) of Vancouver Island. My families roots stem from Beecher Bay (Sc'ianew) and Ahousaht.
I found a passion for music at an early age, and started writing poetry at the age of 14 which eventually evolved quickly into writing lyrics and battle raps. Though I ventured into battling rapping at school and later on here in Victoria, my music and passion for the scene got sidelined by my addiction and for nine years I was lost.
Now over two years sober, I have been steadily working on my craft putting out music to uplift our youth, and speaking truth of my past into every bar and verse I write. Composing music in hopes to inspire and motivate anyone who hears it.

Lekwungen Traditional Dancers
Originally started back in 1978 under the guidance of late uncle Ray Peter's from Cowichan. Then our late dad Jim Dick asked if we could carry it on with our nation.
Now run by Lyla and Beth. We've performed all over the city, various functions both private and public. All levels of government, schools, parades and festivals. Included are the last 2 royal tours that came to town.
Doing what we love, and that's sharing what little we can and keeping the songs and dances alive.
Blessed to have our Momma who is the backbone of the group and kept us going.

PINDIAN
Pindian is a Kwakwa̲ka̲'wakw and Nuu-Cha-Nulth MC born on lək̓ʷəŋən Territory who, in almost 3 years of sobriety, has found immense healing in expressing themselves through lyricism in the genre of Hip Hop which they view to be an innovative, creative, native continuation of their nation’s traditional ways of storytelling.
Pindian started performing in the Summer Season of 2022 and since then has shared their songs on over a dozen stages and venues on both Vancouver Island & East Vancouver.
They aim to honour the roots of old school Hip Hop while sharing their stories through rhyme which make statements about addiction, healing through the intergenerational, traumatic effects of colonization, honouring their west coast lineage and sometimes, have a few laughs and a good time while doing so.
