As Ameripolitan Award-winning artists , honored with Western Swing Female of the Year (2019) and Western Swing Band of the Year (2020) , The Farmer & Adele are leaders in the modern revival of Western Swing and roots music. Known for their artistry and educational approach, they create performances that are as timeless as they are engaging for audiences of all ages.
Their work spans far and wide: from their popular daily radio show, On The Trail with The Farmer & Adele, to the release of Songs for Lil’ Cowpokes, a family-friendly children’s album that expanded their reach into music education. Their upcoming full-length record, Old + New Western Classics, continues their mission to honor tradition while imagining the future of Western Swing.
For nearly a decade, their Country and Western Christmas Party tour has been a cherished tradition nationwide, combining classic holiday songs, original Christmas tunes, and a Western Swing twist on The Nutcracker. This beloved performance was recently released as a single with Paul Kowert of The Punch Brothers, showcasing their collaborative spirit.
Always committed to innovation and education, The Farmer & Adele are developing a live puppet show with Nashville Metro Arts, co-written with Texas Bix Bender of Riders Radio Theatre. The production explores food sustainability, roots music, and cultural diversity through a cast of playful characters including Hank Snowpea, Elvis Parsley, and Tater Swift.
