THE Farewell Celebration Sponsored by: NPHC

The National Pan-Hellenic Council is excited to welcome Ohio State students and families to The Farewell Celebration on May 3, 2025 at the Ohio Union, Archie Griffin Ballroom at 3:30 p.m. Please review the event details below before purchasing your ticket and completing your registration form. Registration Includes:

1. Personalized Certificate
2. Commemorative Pin
3. Invitation to join the Black Alumni Society
4. Commemorative Kente stole (to be provided on stage at the ceremony)
5. 5 guest tickets (if more are needed, please note this on the registration form)
6. Access to photo album and livestream from event

Registration Cost and Deadlines:

1. $75: on or before April 17th
2. $80: April 18th – April 30th

Attire: Guests and participants are encouraged to wear business casual attire for the celebration. Wearing regalia is permitted, however this is completely optional.

Parking: Guests and participants should pay to park in the Ohio Union North and/or South Garages directly next to the Ohio Union (1739 N. High St.).

Event Details: Participants must arrive between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to check in. Doors to the Archie Griffin Ballroom will open at 3 p.m. with the program beginning at 3:30 p.m. All participants will be recognized as they cross the stage to receive their Kente stole and have their name projected on the screen and read out. We expect the program to conclude no later than 5:30 p.m.

For Non-Participants: If you would like to register, but not participate in the celebration ceremony, you may pick up your registration materials May 1 & 2 between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Ohio Union Student Life Administrative Suite located on the 2nd floor (Suite 2008).
