According to Richardson, “This book is my attempt to offer answers and perspectives on ministry, gleaned from my journeys as an itinerant preacher. It’s not a definitive solution, but rather an invitation to re-examine what it means to do ministry. Whether pastor or layperson, we are all engaged in this sacred work. Our understanding of ourselves and the church's purpose will determine how we approach this task.
My hope is that this book will spark a self-evaluation, prompting us to redefine who we are and what we offer to the communities we serve. The more we engage in this dialogue, both locally and beyond, the better equipped we’ll be to foster the change we desire and bring about a true revival.
