10:30am Chuck Christman – Lackman Glassblowing Graded Seal demo
Chuck Christman started working at M&M Glassblowing at 15 years old in 1995. After high school he became a full-time glassblower learning techniques to be an effective production glassblower. Chuck became a member of the ASGS in 2000 and won the Memorial Award in 2002. In 2004 he became the Secretary for the Northeast ASGS section and held that office for 4 years. Over the years he started to specialize in graded seals, although still did plenty of production of OEM parts. In 2023 M&M Glassblowing closed its doors, so Chuck started his own business (Lackman Glassblowing) immediately following in 2024.
11:30am Mike Souza- Souza Scientific Glass
Mike Souza is a Past president of the ASGS and has authored numerous papers for fusion and the proceedings. After working 30 years at Princeton University, he retired in June of 2022 and started his own company Souza scientific glass LLC where he has been contracting with the University of Virginia making 3H3 Target Cells for the accelerator in Hall A for the Super Big Bite Spectrophotometer Experiment

Glass Flower
Sally Prasch started in 1970 working glass with Lloyd Moore. She holds a BFA from the University of Kansas, Scientific Glass Technology and Applied Science from Salem Community College. Served for the ASGS regional and national starting in 1983; put together 5 program booklets and three ASGS symposium websites. Taught glass at Pilchuck Glass School -WA, Niijima Glass Center - Japan, Klenell's Studio - Sweden, Karma Glass - Turkey, Urban Glass - NY, Penland School of Crafts - NC, University of Massachusetts and many more. Presently the scientific glassblower at Umass/Amherst and artistic glassblower at Prasch Glass.

Excellent Scientific Glass Techniques
After earning a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, Daryl attended Salem Community College in 1986. He completed his apprenticeship at At-Mar Glass Company in 1989 and went on to work at Del-Val Glass Co., Great Glas, Inc., Kontes Glass Company and Astra-Zeneca Pharmaceuticals. From 2000- 2005 Daryl was the Instructor at Salem Community College. Daryl began at Yale University in 2005. Aside from his primary duties of glassblowing service to the research community, Daryl also offers a glassblowing course for graduate and undergraduate students. By promoting his services to other research facilities, the workload has increased to levels where it was necessary to hire a second glassblower. Therefore, Preston was hired in 2017
