Japan's most explosive garage rock band, The Fadeaways, play their final Australian tour gig and only headlining Sydney show at MoshPit Bar on Sunday, July 14.Supports are Sydney's psych-rifferama kings, Jupiter 5, and primal one-man band, Dirtbag, and the action starts at 2pm.
Since The Fadeaways' inception in Tokyo in 2005, Toyozo (vocals and bass), Assman (guitar), and Ozzy (drums) have not just played music; they've orchestrated a garage punk rock revolution, deeply infused with the raw energy of '60s garage punk and '70s punk trash.
Every Fadeaways show is a specacle, a barrage of high energy rock and roll crossed with spectacular physicality and enough attitude
They're touring Australia for the first time on the back of an LP, "Pretty Wild", on Melbourne's Cheersquad Records & Tapes. It features four originals and four covers, given the Fadeaways' patented over-the-top treatment.
Sunday's gig will be a chance to see The Fadeaways play a full-set following main support slot to the Psychotic Turnbuckles the night before.
"Pretty Wild" will be available at the gig along with a swag of other Fadeaways vinyl.
Buy tickets at the door and don't turn up late and miss any of the action.
