We'll get into some of the differences between web2 and web3 gaming, how blockchain tech can improve the gamer experience, delve into what exactly P2E entails and if it's legit, and hear all about the exciting innovations happening in the space. Interspersed with lots of time to network in London's newest retro gaming bar, Arcade Apes, this is not one to be missed!

River Tamoor Baig, Founder of Smashverse. River is the founder of Smashverse, a next-generation battle royale game with melee combat and player ownership at its core. He's a 10+ year tech industry veteran that bootstrapped his last startup from 1 to 30-staff before exiting.
On Yavin, Managing Partner at Cointelligence Fund. On is a serial entrepreneur, lawyer, and angel investor. Over the years he has established and built several successful companies, and invested in and mentored many others. In 2017, he joined the blockchain industry with the founding of Cointelligence. Since then, through Cointelligence he has provided the industry with valuable research and education. At the start of 2021 he launched Cointelligence Fund, an early stage venture capital crypto fund focused on blockchain-based games, where he serves as Managing Partner.
Romain Schneider, CEO of Spectarium Oy. After running strategy for a top bank with over $100bn assets on the balance sheet Romain followed his passion and started building a game development company.
His first company Janeious was a direct result of him playing mobile games on world #1 level and building an influential community which supported his first venture in 2015. It was a truly community-run business which then transitioned to become Spectarium, a company co-founded with some of the most successful founders in the mobile gaming industry and funded by a strong group of VCs.
Asa Hutchinson, Director of Pluto Digital. Asa was an early DeFi adopter, exploring farming and yield strategies, before fully converting into web3 with the Pluto Digital PLC start-up and its $50m funding from London’s Stock Market. Having built & nurtured a 60:40 DeFi/GameFi portfolio, Asa is now able to highlight the stability and longevity of projects entering the space and how they can be affected. Pluto’s most recent strategy included a 46% purchase of the London gaming studio Maze Theory (web3 studio ‘Emergent Games Entertainment’s’). Asa is now running all project partnerships in order to grow the increasingly active community.
Yasmina Kazitani, CMO, Interverse AI. Yasmina has over 18 years of experience in marketing, branding, and growth. Currently, operating as a CMO for Interverse.Ai in web3 with products in gaming, NFTs, and metaverses.
Yasmina is supporting web3 builders by enlightening, inspiring, educating, and leading them to be a part of the Next Evolution of Human Experience. Yasmina is also a mentor to Techstars & Westminster University.
