The Exile Co.A unique take on garage rock n roll set against an Andalucian landscape of abandoned film sets and long distance surf guitars, The Exile Co. features members of The Hazlewoods, Spurs For Jesus and The Del-Emmas. The Sydney quartet re-launched in 2025 after a lengthy hiatus since a pre-pandemic Black Friday gig in their hometown. They get set to continue their live onslaught in 2026, next stop Mixtape, Thursday 12 February in Sydney with special guest Tristan Courtney-Prior.

Feeling a need to do something with all his songs that had no place in any of the bands he played in, Tristan decided to embrace the unknown and explored recording an experimental post-punk / yobbo art-rock project in his home studio, experimenting with recording techniques, effects, and instruments he never touches in bands.
