About this Event

Symphonic surprises await as we delve into the rich history of horror cinema, from early silent films by Georges Méliès and F. W. Murnau to contemporary classics by the horror maestro himself, John Carpenter. We’ll look at how the horror genre has changed over the first hundred years of cinema, the crucial role music and soundtracks played in those changes, and highlight audio tricks and treats for tomorrow’s horror composers.
No registration is required. For ages 12 and up.
