The Choral Eucharist of Christmas Day with music from Handel's 'Messiah'About this Event
This Christmas morning Eucharist incorporates popular excerpts from Handel's beloved oratorio Messiah. It is sung by the professional Choir of St John's in the Village with baroque strings and harpsichord from the Strathmere Esemble. Performed at baroque pitch.
We welcome those of all faiths and of none. All baptized Christians are weclome to receive Holy Communion.
The service is followed by a reception of sparkling wine and soft drinks in Revelation Gallery, the art gallery of St John' in the Village.
