Are you new to Lightroom? Have you had Lightroom for a while and just don't get it? Join Kate Hailey for a peek into the world of Adobe Lightroom Classic CC.
In this 3-Hour workshop, Kate will walk you through the essentials in the Library and Develop modules, covering the tools you need to get started including:
LIBRARY MODULE
• Getting Organized and Staying Organized
• Keywords
• Rating and Culling
• Collections
DEVELOP MODULE
• Basics: Exposure, Contrast, Saturation
• Conversions to Black and White
• Tone Curve
• Crop Tool
And more!
Lightroom is a very robust program, this is an introduction to get you started in Adobe Lightroom. Please note this course covers the newest version of Lightroom Classic CC, not Lightroom CC.
What to Bring:
• Computer with the latest version of Adobe Lightroom Classic CC
• Charger for your computer
• Some images loaded into your Lightroom Library or a Memory card with images that you want to work on
• Notebook and Pen to take notes!
ABOUT KATE HAILEY
Kate Hailey is a freelance photographer and photography educator based in the Pacific Northwest.
Kate’s love of photography started at a very young age, with artistic and musical influences from both her father and mother, she was bound for creative pursuits. As a teenager, she began to learn the art of lighting, as a photo assistant. Over the years she has explored the world and found her true voice in capturing stories of people and places along the way.
Kate leads workshops, photowalks, and photo tours, focusing on topics she holds dear, from lighting and portraiture, to travel and exploring creative techniques. Kate is an ambassador for Lensbaby and a contributor to blogs of brands like Lensbaby and Exposure by Alien Skin, as well as SLR Lounge, Digital Photography School, FujiLove, and beyond.

This workshop is limited to 10 students with a minimum of 5 registered attendees needed. In the event the minimum isn't met, the session will be canceled and registered attendees will receive full refunds.
