Over three Saturdays in November and December you will explore:
Forming and assembling, 'limbering up' sketching in clay, first surface application and obscure /reveal detail.
Formal construction methods combined with unorthodox ways of seeing and doing.
Assemblage methodology to achieve an interesting surface dynamic.
Slip application enabling you to experiment in the form of underlay/overlay, line drawing with sharps.
Infusing with oxides suspended in water, blending, wax resist.
Photographing work and record keeping.
Glaze and vitrified slip application.
Glaze technology.
Precious metals, coloured glaze, lustres and decal application.
Detailing focal points with precious metals, pearlized lustres, onglaze brights and decals.
All materials, firings and lunch included.
