EQUINE PODIATRY & LAMENESS CENTRE SCONE APPRENTICE COMPETITION 2025Come along to watch the competition for the prestigious Ray Lincoln Trophy, awarded to the Hi-Point Apprentice, showcasing their skills in a series of events throughout the program.
On Saturday, competitors will be engaged in forging and shoeing activities, setting the stage for an intense day of craftsmanship and learning. The competition builds on Sunday morning with draft horse shoeing, challenging participants to apply their skills to larger breeds. A unique feature of this program is the master and apprentice classes, fostering a collaborative environment where apprentices team up with their masters to learn and compete. This year the competition will be judged by Andy McDonald.
