About this Event
Pain shows up in all of our lives in different ways. Sometimes it is physical. Sometimes it lives in our relationships, our stress, our finances, or our emotional world. And very often, even when pain starts somewhere else, it eventually finds its way into the body.
In this class, we are going to explore what pain actually is, why it gets stored in the body, and how the nervous system shapes the way we experience and hold it.
This is not about forcing the body to change or trying to fix yourself. It is about learning how to listen to your body differently and giving it the space and support it needs to process what it has been carrying.
You will be guided through simple, tangible practices that you can take home and use in your own time. These tools are designed to help your nervous system feel safer, help your body move through pain more gently, and help you build a new relationship with discomfort rather than bracing against it.
We will talk about why pain gets stuck, what it is trying to communicate, and how to be with it in ways that are more honest, more compassionate, and more effective than what most of us were taught.
This class is for anyone who is living with physical pain, emotional pain, or chronic stress, or who simply wants to understand their body more deeply and learn new ways to support it.
You do not need any prior experience. Just come as you are.
What to bring:
• A notebook for any insights or reflections
• Something comfy to lie down on (yoga mat, blanket, pillow—whatever feels supportive)
• Wear cozy, comfortable clothes
