Thank Gravel It’s Friday and Ostroy team up for a gnarly gravel ride from Laguna Beer Co to chase the everlasting summer around Southern California. Hawaiian shirts, salty hair, sand between your toes, and waves crashing on the beach will take you on a throwback ride along the coast of Orange County. You’ll be throwing shakas and mahalos like it was 1966. This unique expedition takes you up some of the gnarliest single track, heavy dirt climbs, and fast descents, before crawling back to Laguna Beer Co for cold beers and pizzas. Share the stoke as you search Crystal Cove and Laguna Beach for that perfect brown pow which may be hiding just over the next climb.RSVP on Ride With GPS to get The Endless Summer water bottle. Ride at your own pace and make sure you have everything you need to finish the ride on your own. There will be one aid station provided by Skratch Labs to help fuel your journey. Weather can be hot and exposed or chilly, you never know what you're going to get. Please check the weather and come prepared. This ride will have technical trails so we recommend a 42mm tire or wider. The wider and knobbier the better! The terrain will be technical and difficult but we love a challenge and we are here to see riders challenge themselves to something they wouldn't normally do on their own.
We're all about the good times and great lines, so the only winner on this ride will be the best dressed. Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt or dad shirt...whichever you prefer.
