๐ฅ ๐ฅ For one time only and ever ... ๐ฅ ๐ฅChicago's least favorite band, The End, reunites at Outta The Way Cafe (opening for The Janus Project) on October 4th starting at 8:00 pm and delivering an hour's worth of songs that duplicate the sound that made them pariahs in the Windy City during their short existence.
๐ถ Who were The End? ๐ถ The End was formed in the Chicago area in the mid-1980s as a post-punk, pre-grunge rock trio. Influenced by classic-rock power trios and the new wave of British and Irish bands of the 70โs and 80โs, The End offered a unique brew of organized chaos (though some said they favored the chaos). While the End went through bassists on par with the pace that Spinal Tap went through drummers, the bandโs first and best iteration โ Joe Zad on drums, Eric โZevโ Jones on guitar and Frank Rowley on bass โ are back and now joined by Jerad Szadkowski on vocals.
โบ โบ Some members of The End went into a Los Angeles recording studio in 2024 and re-recorded a trio of their original songs. Hear what you been missing for the past four decades.
