The Empty Chair: A Healing Experience
✨ Every participant will receive the full experience of sound, reflection, and somatic breathwork. In addition, three participants will have the opportunity to sit in the Empty Chair — a powerful process of guided release, witnessed and supported by the circle.
Why the Empty Chair?
The Empty Chair is a symbolic space. It represents a person, memory, or wound that has carried weight in your life. By sitting in front of it, you are invited to give voice to what has been unspoken — in a safe and supported community setting.
This practice is meaningful because:
Naming creates change. What remains unspoken stays locked within us. Speaking it aloud is the first step toward release.
Vulnerability opens the door to healing. Sharing honestly, even when it feels difficult, allows the heaviness to begin lifting.
Being witnessed is transformative. When others hold space for your truth, the burden is no longer yours alone.
What to Expect
You may experience memories or emotions rising to the surface — this is a natural part of the process.
You are always in control. Share only what feels right for you, whether that’s a few words or much more.
Whether you sit in the Chair or remain in the circle, you will leave with a sense of release, grounding, and insight.
Safety & Support
Because of the depth of this practice, strong emotions or triggering moments may arise. If they do, you will be fully supported. The facilitators will guide you back into grounding, and the group will use breathwork and sound to help release what has surfaced.
The Heart of the Practice
The Empty Chair is not about getting it “right.” It’s about honesty and presence. Healing begins when we turn toward what has weighed us down and allow ourselves to name it.
