Explores the role of caregivers and changes they may experiences, building a support team, and managing caregiver stress.
- Tuesday, August 20 @ 5:30pm, Supporting Independence
Focuses on helping the person living with dementia take part in daily activities, providing the right support and balancing safety and independence while managing expectations.
- Tuesday, September 17 @ 5:30pm, Communicating Effectively
Caregivers will learn how dementia affects communication, including tips for communicating well with family, friends and health care professionals.
- Tuesday, October 15 @ 5:30pm, Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors
Explores the role of caregivers and changes they may experiences, building a support team, and managing caregiver stress.
- Tuesday, November 19 @ 5:30pm, Exploring Care & Support Services
Examines how best to prepare for future care decisions and changes, including respite care, residential care and end-of-life care.
